I have had this very stubborn wart that I have had on my hand for a couple months. Does anyone have any products or tips that I can use to get rid of it?

Here are some options from the facial care blog by Chris & Chat Spa and Facial Care: - use an apple cider vinegar - seek medical treatment for cryotherapy, electrocautery, or acid treament - Chris Gibson's advice to naturally remove warts - use Heal Warts The details are listed in spaandfacialcarecenter.blogspot.com. You may want to check it out.

First, are you sure it's a wart? Then if it is, you should really be careful because warts are contagious. I know that you might not have infected anybody else in the last couple of months, but the risk is there. You should go to a dermatologist and have it cotterized so that it would kill the vein that's acting as the personal bloodstream of that wart. Thanks for the response on my discussion!

It takes awhile to get rid of warts, no matter how they're treated. If a doctor removes them, they tend to grow back eventually. One remedy that I used with success is castor oil and duct tape. Cover the wart with castor oil and cover with a piece of duct tape or other tape that doesn't "breathe" (most bandage tape does). Change it morning and night and keep using it until the wart falls off. I've read that mixing baking soda with the castor oil works faster, but I don't know. The idea is to keep air completely away from it. That's why things like nail polish works.

when I was a kid we used to use the milk from a weed we called milk thistle and it used to always get rid of them but I did see a post on here some time ago that if you paint the wart with nail polish and leave it on for sometime the wart will probably die i guess and it will come off when you pull the nail polish off... :(

I do have one before. I used a lot of wart removing products but it went on for ages. Then, I went to a dermatologist and have it cauterized. It was out in no time and I just applied some salicylic acid for a week in the area just to let the whole thing die.

Hi, Warts are skin infection coming from virus of HPV family. If the warts are of few months old, they must be quite annoying.Drs advise to treat it with Salicylic acid.It is Keratolytic, which dissolves the protein of warts. To get good result apply salicylic acid daily after bath, on the warts for many weeks, =Lahiri,Kolkata,India.
