It seems to be the same with all of the people that I asked, as we graduate high school and move on with our lives, we forget to call and talk to our friends from high school. Are you still friends with your friends from high school?

I guess so but I'm also feeling that the years between us are making the friendship to drift apart. We're talking less and less as the time goes by. We haven't seen each other for years now. The different interests and environment are also affecting the relationship. It's true, it may work for some and not for others. Take note, we're also friends in a social networking site. But it is not just the same as way back in high school. So, those who still have their high school friends are really lucky.

yes, even though they are now in other countries, they are now in dubai, canada and italy but we still managed to keep in touch through email, phone calls, letters. i am the godmother of their kids haha, after high school, we did not go to the same university. but every summer, i will visit them in their homes or we go out together.=)

Definitely, my best friend and I were still in contact though she now lives abroad. She's my best friend for almost 9 years now and we've been through a lot of tough times together. I miss her now that I'm a plane ride away from her and I'm really looking forward to hanging out with her soon. She's be the best friend I'll definitely keep a long time.

Yes, my best friend in high school is my best friend. She's my 'soul sister'. Of course, I only graduated less than 4 years ago. We go to college sort of near, so we visit each other often.

I am still friends with a few friends from highschool. 2 that i was always really been close with. We had a group of 9 of us in school that were in seperable, & i only talk to 1 of them on a day to day basis. The others i talk to if i run into them, but we dont make plans to hang out. It's actually sad. These girls were such good friends. i thought we would be friends forever. I did make friends after high school that i went to school with, but was not friends with them in school. We are still friends. People change & grow apart. We just have to accept that.

I think that people who graduate high school and move to another state or somewhere far away from their high school tend to lose contact with their friends from high school. When i graduated I moved down to fort lauderdale florida and its real hard to keep in contact with people way up north when you are that far away. In my case i was ecstatic to get rid of my old friends because it turns out that the new ones i made were way better then the ones i had at home. I suppose there are people who move away and still talk to their friends at home all the time and if it works for them then GREAT! i suppose each to his own!

Yep, its been ten years since we graduated from high school now, and we are still the best of friends..Even though we live in different countries we keep in touch through emails, phones calls once in a couple of month etc..Also online networking sites help a lot as well in keeping touch..I beleive that your high school friends know the real you and no one can beat that..No matter where you are in life my high school best friend knows me and understands me better than a lot of my current friends..
