would you give up your dreams?

my partner means the world to me but three years ago they begged me not to go to university even though it was the course of my dream career. im now a successful manager of a restaurant and its great, life is great. but i cant help of what could have been. at time a resent them for it ... would u give up your dreams for the one u love?

No I could not and I would not, because the one I love would never ask me to give up my dreams. At the very beginning of my relationship with the man I'd later marry, we discussed our dreams, and then discussed how they would be compatible with the dreams of the other person, and what was important to each of us. Now we have been happily married for two years, and living out both of our dreams together.
