Ahhhh, life is good!I just want to pay homage to the beautiful spring weather we have been experiencing in my neck of the woods lately. I'm not unaware that it could all be taken away from us at any moment though. The Midwest is notorious for its changing weather patterns. So, instead, I am enjoying it for however long it lasts. How about the weather where you live? Are you enjoying springtime? (The last time I started a discussion about the weather it was a disaster - so, please don't make me sorry!)

LOL No disasters here worldwise honey! The weather here the last few days has bee beautifully bright and the sun has been covering us in his rays - unfortunately though it is still very chilly but still feels like spring! At nighttime however the wind has been really, really strong and makes you glad to be inside nice and warm and cosy! xxxx

The weather here is absolutely beautiful. I am loving it. Its great because I have been giving my house a through cleaning because a friend will be visiting me this weekend. The nice weather means I can open the windows and let in fresh air which can be particularly helpful if you have indoor cats.

My cats have been telling me it is spring. They have been spending a lot of time outdoors, which means fewer litter trays to change. They even go out when it is cooler, so I know it is springtime arriving.

Fresh air is so welcome, Aurone, after being cooped up during the winter months!

I just responded to a post about weather and how unpredictable it is! We had a glorious weekend. The weather on Friday and Saturday was nice. Temps about 45-50. Sunday was weird. Sunny, snow, sunny, snow, sunny, snow and then it got cold. I really am anxious for warm weather to get here and stay here. But, for the sake of a good maple season, I will bide my time.

Springtime is my favorite time of the year, Elusive, because it is full of the promise of new beginnings. Also, a harbinger of growth - and a good maple season.

Well, you seem to have forgotten that quite a few of us here are no where near Spring. In the Southern Hemisphere, it's Autumn and the weather is still very hot. The nights are somewhat cooler with a hint of delicious crispness. We desperately need rain.
Those living closer to the equator are either experiencing the "wet" or the "dry"...no seasons for them....it's either hot and wet or hot and dry.
It is a great time of year to be heading into. I'm glad your are enjoying your weather...

Life is wonderful and the weather has its job to do whether it is to snow, rain or shine. I am glad you're having fine weather. I'm not complaining about mine either. Cheers!!

It might sound strange, underdogtoo, but my day just naturally goes better when the weather is sunny and cheerful!

Well, in my neck of the woods we have been having sunshine for usually about 3-4 hours mid day. But the winds are high and it is still snowing in the mountains. Make you sorry? A disaster? Not sure why you would start a discussion without realizing it could go either way. In my neck of the woods we say if you don't like the weather wait five minutes. I think that about says it all.

But, that's the purpose of the discussion, celticeagle, to give everyone a chance to tell us about the weather they are experiencing! I'm not so naive that I thought for one second that everyone was having weather as beautiful as ours has been lately.

I live in the midwest and the weather has been pretty nice except for yesterday. It rained a good part of the day. Today was nice but chilly. Our weather is suppose to change by this weekend. Rain and some flurries. I cringe when I hear some flurries because that could mean snow. This time of the year it will melt in no time but still the thought of snow so close to April scares me. I can remember back in 1965 it snowed the first week in April. I remember this because I had just bought a brand new car.

I'v eseen snow in April on more than one occasion, carolbee, and it can be very depressing, but, as you stated, it doesn't last long once the temperatures are on the rise.

nope, spring has not sprung in montreal yet, but will start to see spring weather on friday and I can't wait. Except the dampness hurts my bones, the summer is really the only time that I am not sick.

The weather in South Carolina, hasn't been all to wonderful. A few weeks ago, we had 90's, then got back down to the 40's, and rained... got back up to the 60's and 70's, but it's going back down hill to where it's cloudy and nasty rain is on it's way for the rest of the week, and weekend here. YUCK! I want the sun, the blooming flowers, the chirping birds, and butterflys... When will it ever come? lol. Glad your having good weather your way! Hope it stays that way, I grew up in the midwest, Missouri, and know how it can go from one extreme to the next, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!

Here I noticed my flowers are coming up and the days have been beautiful, but that wind sometimes still makes it bit chilly. Yes i am not holding my breathe as I know this is only March and we going into April and all hell can break lose and put 4 inches of snow on the ground. But it is nice to get out of the house, if only to walk in the yard and just be outside for a change instead of being cooped up inside because of the cold temps. Keep your fingers crossed that all will stay nice. We have some rain coming for tomorrow. Hope it doesn't build to severe.

There's nothing like a good spring thaw, bdugas, to really get the blood flowing, and to fortify us for the remnants of winter weather that won't go away quietly!

The weather here has been nice recently too. I love the fact that we have had some 70 degree days already and that I have been able to get some yard work done and that I have been able to enjoy being outside. Tonight it is raining and they say that it is going to be cooler,so we will wait and see.

we are experiencing summer now. but though i think it is more correctly called as dry season as we have to two seasons. i don't like the hot weather. specially we don't use the air con that much to save from electricity.
and i can't go that much cause i don't want to look darker than i am now. being in a tropical country that is what i dislike most about it. but for those who have beautiful houses with centralized aircon and with their own car every time they go out then it will not be that big problem but for an average individual i can't afford those luxuries. i ride in public transportation which does not have any aircon . i am referring to jeepneys which can only be found in our country. anyways, though the buses has aircon but the buses are for major highways only. and i don't travel much in those places. mostly i can ride jeepney. getting out of the house at 10 am till 5 pm, is really hot. you will perspire a lot. and i don't want to smell bad in the middle of the day. so if i will get out of my house i make sure i get out early before the sun fully set and will just travel back home by 5 pm when the sun is not that high in the sky.
even now when i am typing i am using electric fan. so hot really. i have just taken my bath two hours back. but immediately after taking the bath i just feel hot again.

Good for you and happy to hear you're having fine weather. Here with us, it's summertime once again, all sunny days, too much heat. Am glad however, slight rain poured the other day. This is better than having floods and typhoons. We can't relly have a good sleep with this heat all around. We have to go on a place that are much cooler. To the park, to the mall or go home to the provinces.

Some would gladly trade the hot weather for the frigid weather we have been getting, bing, but at least you have places where you can get some relief from the heat.

Yesterday snow came again and it's COLD. But just this past Saturday I smelled the first barbecue of the year. That was lovely. I just want the snow to go away, I'm loving everything else, spring birds singing, flowers starting to pop up out of the ground and brighter and warmer days.
