You don't give out your bank info when using Paypal. I have been a member of paypal for 9 years and have never had a problem. Just watch out for those phishing emails that claim to be from paypal asking for your password...dont do those...

You have to be very carefull when you "receive" e-mails from Paypal. Those might be scam e-mails.
Whenever you receive any e-mail from Paypal ... don't follow any links in that e-mail.
Start another internet explorer and write in the address bar www.paypal.com

Savarina is correct. I've received a few of these emails and they look real. They will either say that your account information needs to be updated, or they will say there is a problem with your account. Then they will give you a link to go directly to the correct place. It is a scam to get your private info.
I deleted the email, and then go to my paypal account through the web and confirm that all is normal.
No problems so far.

you do not have to give your bank oinformation if you do not want to you can use a credit card instead or open up a different account, and use that account instea. PayPal is legit and they take care of you! If you bid on something on ebay and dont receive it they will give you back your money! I really love them and have had an account for about 6 years or more now.
