im not really a traveler.. heck the farthest i've gone to is baguio (which i've just gone to recently, if not for that, farthest for me would be olongapo, not really subic :( ).. anyways.. but i can say one of the many reasons to be a true proud pinoy are the countless summer destinations we have.. may you be a kapwa pinoy yourself or a foreigner, i can guarantee you would enjoy our beaches here.. of course there's the ever famous boracay, or puerto galera.. if either gets too crowded you can still have a lot of choices like pagudpod or hundred islands (and yeah, sadly i haven't gone to any of them).. for me, i think one destination i really cant miss out this summer is CAMSUR. seems like i have to go there and experience world-class wakeboarding! my brother even told me he watched (or read i forgot) somewhere that CAMSUR has the best wakeboarding facility in the world! you know what made it beat out all the rest? it's the only 24-hour wakeboarding facility.. like, yeah, why not.. 24 hours of wakeboarding fun right? like, if there are a lot of people during daytime, why not enjoy the huge lights and wakeboard at nighttime! (though it defeats the purpose of the sun, lol)
so you? where should you go this summer in the Philippines?

I cannot think of any one particular place which I will be missing out this summer. I want to go to many places but I am not yet sure if the funds will be available. But definitely, I will be flying to Iloilo and maybe will have a sidetrip to Boracay.

yeah that one too.. with economic crisis, dreams of having a perfect summer vacation is almost out of reach.. but im sure there'll be like discounts and freebies.. and even if you have to spend a little more, im sure it'll all be worth it.. after all, how often do we get to escape from the city right? ;)

Well, we don't usually have off days even during summertime. But if given the chance I'd prefer to go to Bohol. I've heard lots of great things about Bohol and I really would want to go there with my wife. Maybe in the next couple of years or so.

Like if only money and time won't be a problem, then definitely Boracay! I know therhttp://www.mylot.com/images/emotes/thumbup.gife are many places still to see.. But I just get familiar with the place and I feel at home. Still I keep my options open with other beautiful places in Philippines. I've been to Palawan too for very few days, I like it there. I need more time to explore the pace. Love the Philippines beaches!

I would love to visit Boracay, Bohol and Baguio. Those three places are the ones i havent visited which I am planning to go to one of these days. I am from Davao City myself and I would recommend that you visit Samal Island and the Philippine Eagle Park if ever you want to visit there. The thing to do in Samal Island is Island Hopping Adventure where you can also do snorkeling or diving or simply go swimming on its prestine waters. If you love nature trail, The Philippine Eagle Park is the best!
