Do you use Twitter?

The reason I like Twitter is exactly because of its simplicity. No flashing designs, no music blaring, no apps to add on, no photos. Just direct communication. I get updates on news, sports, music, etc. and can communicate with all kinds of people from those areas of life in real time. And although messages are limited to 140 characters, many of them contain links to Web pages, etc.

They've had that out since the internet really. Its called email.

I've been looking around and adding "follows". I am beginning to see the benefit of using twitter. I am following some users who are very knowledgable and helpful. They frequently post links to informative articles and websites. You can follow people and they can follow you. Everyone who follows you will be able to read whatever you post. So, this is a good way to disseminate useful information to several people with little effort. As a follower, the site is great because you don't have to spend a lot of time visiting a ton of blogs or websites. The people you follow will put their best info on Twitter. Lots of useful information collected on one site. I'm liking it.

I'm also finding it pretty boring at the moment. I thought I'd be able to search for members who share the same interests. So far I have not seen how to do this.
