I wanted to know how many of you are serious about this new feature on mylot. Have you completed any? Do you think you are still going to stick to your earlier pattern- of only posting and responding to discussions?
Many of you must have alotted some time for tasks too?

I've attempted 4 already. I don't see why people wouldn't want to try them out. More money, who wouldn't want that?! Anyway, I tried 3 out yesterday, and one the other day. None have been approved yet, but let's see! I saw two tasks last night, both would have earned me $2.00 for writing 4 paragraphs, but it was too late and I had no time. Oh well, maybe next time.

Great going jeneias! You are right. If one has time, why not try. Completing tasks along with the regular activity and extra money too.

Hi Balasri, how are you.
I also attempted four and got three of them approved. so that makes it $6 worth of tasks.

Hi Golgappi
I think the essence of mylotting and tasking are quite different and once you are into the groove of tasking you will find it hard to come back to the interactions an vice versa. Tasks are good for earning more but then you need more time and inclination. I find the instructions cumbersome and lengthy and that makes it even more worse. However having said this, I did try my hands in it and earned some cents. But it wasn't easy. The searches were long and monotonous - something I did not like.
I had started one discussion early on. I think you missed it and that airs this largely. I think tasks are good when you have enough time and you really want to earn fast money. As of now, I find myself not quite there and contended with my interaction here with my friends.

I'm not fussed with the new tasks section at all and will sticking to posting and responding as per usual. I read through some of the tasks on the day they were released, but I just couldn't be bothered with them to be honest. I think it's great for those that can find the time to complete them though!

We are so used to posting discussion and love it too. You are so right James that its great for those who have enough time to complete them in the stipulated time.
Thankyou James for your response.
Thanks to you too Sharra

Well I had a go at some of them but I will not stop posting just because of them. They do seem to take me a lot of time but then so does posting.
Hmmm for that matter everything seems to take me a lot of time these days. Especially when I forget I was doing it and go off to do something else. I just keep muddling along and maybe I will get better by the time I am old enough to retire. I have to laugh about it or go nuts.

I have yet to see any that would be worth the time, to be honest. It's probably a time difference thing: since most are posted on US time, when I arrive all the good ones have gone and the only ones left (if any) take ages for little return.

Well its a new initiative and if it adds up the earnings why not? I have attempted some, waiting for a status- approved or rejected. I feel they should put up a sample for reference so that people who want to attempt the tasks know exactly the expectations of the reviewer. By looking at the sample, we can decide whether you can deliver the expected results or move on and not waste yours or their time.

I finally found one and tried it just to get a feel for how they worked, but it switched tasks in the middle of the "transaction" so that the one I knew how to do was replaced with one I wasn't sure of...and it is still pending so I've no idea how it turned out...well, it was only for a penny :-)

hi daffodil :-) yes i have attempted to do 4 tasks already and fortunately, all of them got approved! i am so happy when i signed in to mylot this morning because i earned 2 dollars from the last task i submitted. because of that, i think i will soon receive my second payout from mylot. love the tasks but of course posting and replying to discussions is still the main reason why i am here.

Well I did 8 the first time they started but since then I have only seen two. I was too late for one of them and the other I could not do. I never see any worth more than 25 cents as the higher value ones go to the American time zone first and they are all gone when I log in.
I am not sure how many people on my side of the world actually get to accept tasks. The ones I did took a fair amount of time for just a few cents but it is extra income. I just wish there were more available during the time I log in. I think America is 10 hours difference but I have not worked out what time the tasks are posted.
However, I have been paid for the 8 I did complete.

I did some task before... edit some college basketball logos to a specific size. I edited about five and luckily four of them got approved. I earned an additional dollar from it.
Unfortunately it's hard to find available tasks now. Every time I login in myLot there are no task available. I guess I have to stick with posting discussions for now.

Hey, Daffodil, i haven't tried, as i noticed this new feature the other day, and didn't find any task available.
Yeah, if i have time and the tasks not difficult, i will answer, more money, why not?

I looked at the task feature when it was first posted and quickly lost interest. The subjects weren't appealing. I would rather spend the time posting discussions or responding to discussions. If myLot changes their tasks to be a bit more exciting, I would look into what they offer.

I like this new feature as it enables us to have a chance to earn extra here. A few days ago I finished the logo tasks and three of them were approved. I am very glad to it and it encourages me. But most the task are very difficult. So I still have to post here:)
I love China

I checked them out the first night. I did three and have gotten paid for two tasks. I enjoyed writing the articles myself. And I hope they put up more for us to do. You just have to do a little research on the ones you write for and that's not hard.

Hey Daffodil! I still haven't tried any tasks yet! I think
that I prefer to continue with responding for now. Every time
I look at the subjects I feel that I am just not qualified
to do the tasks that are there. I would like to try them, but
I am afraid I won't be able to! I think that if I do have
more time I will try at least one!

As the tasks are not available at all the time . we can not allot any specific time to complete them. I have competed so far 15 task (all worth less than 3.5 USD, combindly) , out our the 15, 3 task have been approved.Since I submitted the other tasks yesterday only, it may take few days to get approved or denied. But for the time needed to complete some of the tasks and the rewards(some are having just one cent), we can involve us in the discussions and this will invrease our earnings.
