travel writing woes

Pictures speak louder than words. Why not just post your pictures and submit to those writing sites? Writing the caption of each picture may be a good start to a long article. Anyway, most people are lazy to read travel articles, they are more interested to look at the pictures. After you got their attention, they will start searching for the travel articles and read about it. I have not tried writing travel articles yet, but this is what I feel when I read the articles written by someone in AC. He just back from a Beijing trip and everyone keen to look at the pictures rather than read the articles.

Not really. I just usually focus on one specific thing that I want to write about. Writing about a whole trip is probably beyond my capabilities. I havent actually done that yet. I do like travel writing though.
