I was born and brought up in a rural place. But I am living in the city for work. I don't like to live in my hometown even if I have the chance. I studied in the city and I think people in my hometown are not open-minded and they keep minding other people's business. But I still wanted to live in a rural area because it is quiet and because of fresh hair. I love nature too so I prefer to have a house in a rural place.

Grew up in the urban area in a small City in Manila called Las Pinas, which is the City of pineapples. So pretty much I am into urban life, and city life.. And when I get all stressed out with school, and work and the life in the City, I'd like to go to the countryside, the rural area. I love the mountains, I love the beach, I love the rural people and all the good and nice things about the rural. Maybe someday, when I retire, I would prefer to stay in rural area for good. I want peaceful life and simple life.

Hi there! I was born in the city and I still live in it. I am fortunate to have been born in the metropolitan of one of our country's main island. I just love it here. But I also like to go to rural places once in a while.

I've always lived in Sydney, which is the largest city in Australia. I'm fortunate that our area is very leafy with lots of bushland, even though I can see the city in the distance from our window. I love the country too, and often holiday in rural areas just to relax and enjoy the fresh air.

I was bornt in a city.
So I studied and worked in the place I was bornt.
I am married and move out to live with my husband, and I live near my parents'. It is quite convenient a family can live so close together.
But I love rural area, people living in city maybe a bit stressful, and space is a luxury here. I would be happy if I can live in rural area.

Hello nagasubbarao! I was born and raised in a rural area. I was once a village girl who doesn't any idea what city looks like. When I finally became college, I have to go to the city to study. Honestly, I was shocked because of the big difference of the two places. Now, I live here in the city and would always look forward to go back to my hometown.

I was born in a small town in Idaho state close to the border to Washington state. The area has 3 inland sea ports and had alot of interested businesses to build there but one major business kept out other businesses except for another major business which I did work at temporarily. I moved away 250 miles from my hometown 21 years ago to pursue other work. I have no desire to move back and live where I was born.I visit once a year and that is enough for me.

Hi Frnd,
I am born and brought up at Delhi, which is a metro city in India..But my mother belonged to a village. So, I feel connected with both the places and feel proud that I belong to both sides of India.. A rural which has so much greenery but many problem and a city which has all the luxury but no time to enjoy money earned...

I was born and raised in a very small town in Northeast Missouri. Rural and farming community. When I turned 18, I ventured out on my own and went to a bigger city in Florida to go to college, and then met my husband, and moved to his home state of South Carolina, though we live in a smaller city, we are only about 30 minutes from the larger city of Myrtle Beach.

I was born in a rural area of the UK. I have lived in several different places, but always near to where I was born. Where I live now, is on the outskirts of a small town, but would prefer to be back in the countryside again. Our countryside is disappearing fast in this area, so it is hard to find anywhere near here.

Hi, nagasubbarao! I am not sure if I am rural, urban or suburban. I never could tell the difference for anything. I am from South Carolina. I am living in the same city and state that I was brought up in. I don't live with my parents. I am living at a motel. That I soon will be moving from by this month.

i am living in a soon to be urban city, the municipality haven't yet decided if our community is ready to be urban.
here there are chains of schools, from high school, to universities and colleges. we also have 3 shopping malls (Waltermart, SM DasmariƱas, Robinsons Place DasmariƱas). Two hospitals (De La Salle University Medical Center, and JP Rizal Hospital).
i think that it's enough to be considered as a city don't you think?

I do not think where you are from matters so far as your existence and contribution towards the society and the nation goes. I have no falsifying dream nor I live in the snobbery. I am from both rural and city life as now I am approaching my 37. Till I was 13 years old I spent my life in the remote village and then got shifted to a suburban area and finally settled at city which I like not.
This is all my short history.
