^_^ Howdy people of myLot!. . . . This is to discuss on how to update and upgrade in Ubuntu. Ubuntu is basically supported by Debian softwares packages. These softwares are provided and can be downloaded on Ubuntu servers by using Synaptic Package Manager. Synaptic Package Manger also doing the updating and upgrading automatically the Ubuntu system. The best way to update or upgrade is to set check all possible options at the Software Sources. To setup -- goto 'System Menu'. Then the 'Software Sources' ..... Tab 'Ubuntu Software' -- all boxes must be checked but not included CD-ROM/DVD or leaved it unchecked.... Tab 'Third-Party Software' -- Check all necessary boxes but not included those Cdrom or leaved it unchecked.... Tab 'Updates' all boxes are checked..... Then 'close'.... You can 'Reload' if asked or just close. If you Reload it will automatically updates after you finished your administrator password. For a very much faster update or upgrade it is better to use the Terminal. To use the Terminal in update or upgrade goto 'Applications Menu'. Then 'Accessories'. The 'Terminal'. Then type these scripts.... To update: sudo apt-get update To for full update: sudo apt-get dist-upgrade .... I prefer always using this. It is more complete on updating. To know more options using apt-get: sudo apt-get[press TAB 3 times] .... For more helps and options: sudo apt-get --help For initial update or the first update after installing Ubuntu its always takes longer. About 2 to 3 hours. Depending on your connection also. ^_^ Thanks and Enjoy!. . . . myLot!. . . .

Hey that's good congrats. so your graphics is already working fine now. And you manage to install ConpizConfig Settings Manager (CCSM). You have to add 2 more Workspaces to make a cube. Coz cube has 4 sides. ^_^
