Spring is in the air! (yeah right)

Our snow is finally starting to melt. The big saying here is if you don't like the weather, never mind just wait about a half hour and you'll get a different season. It's just about the truth.

Yes, looked out the window yesterday and it was snowing. Looked out this morning, and it is still snowing. Cannot blame it on God, I knew there was no thing such as global warming. So I am wondering whether it is God trying to convince those who believe in global warming, that there is no such thing and HE is in charge. Well I was considering going for a walk today, but I think I will do my walking in the house, going up and down the basement stairs. No, have not planted my garden yet and anyway I will probably make it a container garden. I do have some houseplants and no I have not killed them yet.

Yep, spring is in the air here, too. Two days ago I measured 10 inches of snow in my backyard and today the wind is wild and cold. A week ago, it was in the 70s though. Typical Colorado weather!

Hi, webeishere~Grandpa Bob! Here, in Sumter, South Carolina, it is very chilly in the mornings. It is like 46 degrees in the mornings and nights. But during the day it can be 72 degrees and up. And sometimes in the 60s. This weather is really tricky. And it will not really get warm until May here. This is Flu weather here! Take care in Minnesota, Grandpa Bob!

i know what you mean. i am beginning to wonder if it will ever get warm out. we have high 30's and no sun at all to be seen and some light drizzle which makes it even worse. but one thing i know is that we have no control over the weather so we just have to make do with what we get. sometimes it really complicates things and sometimes it brightens our days.

you are right gb, we have our ups and downs here where i live too but we havent had snow on the ground for well over a month! (YAY!) the temperature has also been up and down too. monday it was -5 (celcius) and by tomorrow? +11 (celcius) YAY! oh and i saw my first robin this week! :-)

It gets that way here sometimes. I remembe on my 16th birthday I went sledding. My birthday is in April. So far this year we have had a typical spring. Just wet and windy!

I was there last april and you guys had the weather we have in june. It made me kind of sad to come back to brown muddy weather with some snow still! I dont plant my garden until the long weekend in may. Otherwise the frost is still in the ground alot of the time. Right now its cold and snowy - Sunday was freezing rain and snow.

Yes, it is now Spring, and we have been having Spring weather the past couple weeks, had some Spring thunderstorms, its been getting in the upper 70's to 80's, the only thing about Spring thunderstorms around here is that we also get tornados in those storms and thats not good. Today its been a cloudy windy day, and we've really been having some strong winds the past few days getting up to 40 mph, the strange thing is for Sat. we've got a chance of snow coming..lol. Now thats crazy weather for us..I think everybody's been trying to plant their gardens because everythings turning green again, but they probably should wait till after this snow comes in.

No we dont start planting our garden until Memorial day weekend here....we dont start warming up until May. today we had rain we woke up to and it cleared up about 4 this afternoon and the sun came out... and warmed up to about 57, so I was able to open my doors and air out the house a bit. Yes, the calendar does say spring, but I have to say it doesnt really arrive here until the first of May....we hopefully will get some nice days in April but those will be a hit and miss... unfortunately!! so until then... happy mylotting!!

I am in south of China,now I can smell the odour of spring,it's the breath of grass and flowers.Pretty girls have been wearing skirts for a week.In my neck of the woods,everyone will go out and have a nice spring day in the weekend.Flying a kite is the most popular activity. To you,just be patient,and the spring day will come before long.

IT'S Mar.26th today, spring comes, warm wind, less cloth, sunshine day, but this lasted only few days, then weather rechanged cold, we have no idea except put on thick clothes, still sunshine, still wind, but ~ ~ ~ There is a word here, that is cold weather in spring can make ox ill.
