Even Years Can't Change High School

Last week I ran into a couple of people who I graduated with and its funny that even years does not change things. The first gal was a very intelligent studious person in high school who volunteered time to help other students who were struggling. Never that party girl. Always the apple of Daddies eye. Today she is a teacher who specializes in special needs and a beacon for the community. The second person I ran into was the babysitting queen of high school. Always bouncy and energetic and the head cheerleader. Today she is a stay at home mother with five kids who are very active in sports and of course the cheerleading squad. A gal that lives down the block from me in high school ran with the faster crowd. She always hung with the popular guys that were a little on the wild side. Today she has her own harley. Her and her husband are always having parties and inviting the "gang" and will never grow up lol. Even at high school reunions people tend the gravitate toward the old clique they were in in high school and ignore everyone else. Makes me wonder if I am the same. I hope not lol. Have you noticed this when you run into people you used to know

Actually I've found that I've changed more than most, but that even people who I didn't get along with in high school are very nice to me now. I'm always surprised to see where people have ended up, and most I never would have imagined them being where they are.
