How many are your are doing the basedall shuffle as I call it. My boys are seven and nine and of course are in two different leagues. Monday and Wednesday my 7 year old has practice from 6 to 7:30. Monday my 9 year old had a game at 5, Tuesday game at 7:45(we did not get home until 10pm), and a game on Thursday at 7:45. I will be running every night except for Friday. Saturday the oldest has pictures at 12:15, not even a break for the weekend. My seven year old has not got their game schedule yet, so who knows I may be running between two games on the same night. I think my kids have a more active social life than I do.

You will learn to network with other parents. I use to have 3 daughters who played The oldest in high school on 2 teams and and 11 and 12 yr old each on a team. It could get crazy, Homework in the car picnic dinners sometimes not getting home until 8pm or later. This went on for about 4 yrs. at one point we had 2 select teams 2 school teams and 3 rec leagues going. Its do able just tough. Rejoice when they are on the same field on the same day.

Actually during football, we had many picnics in the car while doing homework. Our problem is that we live in the country and we have a few friends that live out here to, but of course they are all on different teams. We are about 20 miles from home, so we spend alot of time in the car.

At least both your boys play baseball, my kids are 9, 8 and 6 mondays is cub scouts with 8 year old, tuesday youth group with 9 year old, wed. gymnastics with 6 year old thursday girl scouts with 6 year old, the youngest two are homeschooled and the oldest in public school, so toss in field trips, testing, p/t stuff, baseball and karate classes that start soon games are once a week and then one every weekend for baseball with at least 1 practice a week.... It's a LOT. My kids have also done, dance, basketball, football and soccer at various times on top of the current list. So yeah a mothers work is never done.
