How long have you been on AC and how many fans do you have?

I've been a member of Associated Content since January 26th, 2007. For some reason, that date just seems inaccurate to me. While I do acknowledge being an active member for over a year, I didn't think I had an account there for that long. Those first seven months featured me being dormant, and doubtful of even making ten dollars from writing articles. Fast forward to 2009: I'm in the top 1000(feel snubs from the top 100 for some some reason), and I've accumulated a lump sum of currency. Said lump isn't bulging enough to put a smile on my face when I look in my Pay Pal account, but it's more than that ten bucks I spoke of before. As for fans, I've got a small group of commenters who seem to dip in and out of encouraging me to publish more. Out of my 46 subscribers, only about 14 of them are active members of the community. I rejoice by executing my patented happy dance(patent pending) whenever I see that number rise. About my AC exploits: i tend to make the occasional attempt at humor with the articles I publish on Associated Content. By humor I mean satire. By satire I mean things that make me laugh. By things that make me laugh, I usually mean corny references that would make a Def Comedy jam comedian look like Richard Pryor(perhaps I'm a bit to hard on myself...). As of today, I've managed to churn out 227 articles.

Well joined just a week back. Many people have been telling me to join AC for ages now but the lazy me signed up just about a week back. And I am lost. Lost for friends, lost for ideas, lost about earnings and payouts. Dont think anybody in AC even knows I exist, so the question of friends and fans doesnt arise. Do you write there as Bethany1202 or is it by some other name? Will check up your articles.

I only started posting in "August, I had lots of stories that I put up and I try to do a story a day now, I am already at clout 8 and it makes a big difference let me tell you. I have about 55 friends, I add new people when they comment on my stuff and I also sometimes go to other people and comment on theirs, they usually respond by adding me as well.

I have over two hundred and fifty articles. However I don't have that many fans. I dont normally follow other people so they dont follow me. I have decided to start increasing my fan base recently. I am not sure how to start but I will figure out something. It would be nice to have a lot of people following my work, since that would mean more page views.

Hey Bethany. I've been on AC since April 2006. I haven't put anything up in a while except for a call for content. I have a few fans and some subscribers, I've got you in my favs. This is a good way to gain some new subscribers.

I just started at AC and only have one published article but I just received an email from Paypal that I have received payment! It's only $4 but I have to admit it is a little exciting.

I do not have any fansand I have also not included anyone .But can one include someone as a favourite?I will go and check it.

I've been on Associated Content since 12.23.06. I wasn't very active for a long time and at first I was just publishing reviews that I had previously published in other places so I wasn't getting many hits or much payout. I currently have 21 fans on the site and am at a clout level 8.

Hey, Bethany. I started with AC on 4/23/08, so been there almost a year. I have 65 fans and have published 92 articles. I'm only at clout 6 so far. I don't publish must each month with them. I really should do more. I haven't emailed anyone about favoriting them and asking them to do the same, but I have received that message a few times.

I joined AC around a year ago and only now am I starting to write. I onyl have 15 articles though but they have paid me once before and I am already on clout 4. I plan to get to clout 10 by the end of the year to increase my page view payments. I normally use Helium as I am making over $6 in page views there this month already. As for AC I am going to have to write alot to increase my clout, but I have the confidence it can be done. Joined in Feb this year, just into my second month. Published more than 40 articles and reached Clout 4 a few days ago. As international writer, I am eligible for page views payment only, so happy to reach the magic 1000 page views. Waiting eagerly to receive my first payout. Right now, I have 6 fans, I am fans to about 40 writers. As long as I like what I read, I add the writer to my favorite list. No matter they are new writer or seasoned writer, no matter what topics they are writing to, once I like the article, the writer becomes my favorite.
