When is a kiss really "just a kiss"?

When you are affectionate and give friends a private hug and kiss - - does the receiver ever get the wrong message? What to say if they misunderstand? Does it ever get confusing for you, too?

I think there are some that may miscronstrue this, but there are some that will just
be really good and and are really happy to hug and kiss you. I just that friends maybe shouldnt kiss and hug unless they are sure that they are going to not have
some misunderstandings about what happens.

Thanks, snowy (great name, eh?). I am an affectionate person myself having come from a huggy family. It has been a problem through the years - - but giving love and warmth is nearly always worth the added confusion and explanations to make sure the right message gets across. Thanks for your thoughts.
Are you from a 'huggy' background?

In my thoughts, only people fall in love can they kiss each other, I never think over how about a person I don't love kiss me, that will destroy our friendship.
