Hey, my girls are 14 months apart. I love them being close together because they are just as close as their age! They are best friends so far. lol. The only bad thing about it, I feel is that my body was not completely recovered and ready for another pregnancy. On the upside though they will be able to talk to a friend they can trust when they get older, they will be in and out of school around the same time and they will experience things like boyfriends and so on together and will always have each other to talk to and relate to if they ever feel that mom can't relate or don't understand. lol. Not to mention I can have girl talks one time with both of them vs having to go over the same things 100,000 times over the years with only one child at a time. But these are just things that run through my mind.

My first & second are 35 months appart, my second and third are 26months appart. So basically I got pregnant with my 2nd when my first was a lil over 2 yrs old. & pregant with my 3rd when my 2nd was 16mo's old.
They say to wait a year inbetween pregnancies for your body to get back to 'normal'.
You are not crazy but sometimes things happen. Or if they planned it that way so be it, I'm sure she's getting a lil grief from her OBGYN about it that's forsure! As I once worked with a gal who had what's dubbed "irish twins" she had one baby in Jan-Feb and had the 2nd in the same calendar year in December!

Personally I think that is too soon. Was it planned? Because I also know that after you have a baby that is the easiest time to get pregnant again and if you don't use the right birth control to stop it, then you will most likely become pregnant again.
I know someone that got pregnant three months after she had a baby and ended up miscarrying because her body was completely back to normal to carry another baby yet. Well that is what her doc told her.

I had 2 cases of miscarriage before I got pregnant. The second miscarriage was on June and I've got pregnant November. As for my own opinion, after giving birth to a first child, it is better to get pregnant a year or years after so that you can still enjoy the first child and give the love that the child should get. But, it all depends on the couple. This matter is very important to talk about on when to get pregnant again.
