how many times do you let the phone ring before you answer it?

Well,I always pick up the phone immediately whether it is mobile or landline.Since,I am a businessman,I don't want the caller to wait for me,as I expect good business.I even carry my mobile to the bathroom.Cheers!

as long as i dont know the caller is i dont answer telephone..

I never really sat there & counted how many times my phone rings... When I hear my phone ring, I grab it & answer it & depending on how long it takes for me to grab a phone & push an answer button, I guess that's how long it will ring...

I answer at twice. Because to make sure who calling me.

Well, as soon as I am free to answer the phone then I answer it right away. I guess it has been a habit of me already. I once worked with a rescue unit as a nurse paramedic. There are times that I am assigned to the dispatch area to answer calls. When the phone rings in our station, we answer it right away. Somehow, I have brought such type of action on me even when I am no longer working with the unit. Everytime the phone rings, I just answer it right away.

I answer it once it rings as long I know who's calling me.

Usually, I pick it up when it ring twice to confirm if the call is intended for me. But when I am into something it can ring up to four times this are instances where I am really busy into something which is very occasional. There are instances though that there are prank calls, then I would hang my phone for a while to avoid those disturbances.

Well i take answer it as soon as I can.

If i;m at home I wait until the second rind because the caller wont show on the caller ID until the second ring. As for my cell phone the incoming call come up right away so depending on who it is I'll answer right away, or not at all.
