Identity theft caused by PTC sites?

This just popped in my head as I was signing up for one of those survey/ptc sites. Has anyone every wondered if some of these sites are used to steal your identity? I get those emails all the time. "Job oppurtunity for you!! please email us with your name, number, address, id number, etc". We all know those are scams and the only reason they want that info is to take your identity. You can tell when a "make $3,000 a day doing nothing!" site is bogus. what about some of these paid email/ptc sites? I know sites like inboxdollars, panda, and others are legit. But what about these others like 60au.com and others that aren't as popular? You fill in all your info and sometimes it ends up being a worthless cause and so you delete your account or send it straight to the spam folder. But, the company still has your info and some dishonest people can do whatever they want with it. Has this ever happened to you? Have you ever thought of this possiblity or am I just getting a little bit paranoid?

You doubt is right , the non popular sites can do anything they want with our details. I would say to add transaction PIN to your paypal account is one solution. Always remember to logout of your account and clear all private data after using public computer.
