which one to buy

My suggestions is you have to know your needs, so you can choose the laptop of your dream about. if you are a gamer you should focusing on graphic and the memory and if you are a programmer/business man you should focusing on processor, memory and others device support such as PCMCIA, All Card Reader, VGA port for connect to projector, etc. So you'll have to buy the laptop of what your needs, so you will have max satisfied.

Since you are from India, I am not sure what is always available there compared to what is offered here in the US, but I have a Dell laptop which for the most part I have been quite Happy with. It has a lot of extras that I special ordered, but it works for me. I have also heard of people who have Great success with HP brand as well, so I guess it is what works best for you versus price you are willing to spend.

I recommend ASUS and lenovo.Some of my friends have them,they all think that the laptops have high quality,and the service is very good.As to hp,because of my laptop is hp product,the quality is not very good.The model of my laptop is HP 6515b,I go to the maintenance centre very often.Because there always something wrong with it.I am boring. But this is just what I think of HP,you can ask someone else.

Hi, i am a sales support engineering person, i have and use a different brands and models of LapTop's, for different applications like: Music, Video edition, Picture edition, Engineering, Administration, Scientific Calculations, Multi Task, and Hobbie. if you need impress some one buy the most expensive and fancy, if you really want to work in field with a complete and ligth equipment buy a Acer one to is really a All in One. and the best is the $$$.$$. recently I buy one and i am really happy with the performance good luck. bye.

You have to consider first the budget and the specs of the laptop. The brand is just second to consider if you're tight in budget. They say mac is very expensive but the features is the same with the other brand of laptop. Mine is a VAIO. My friend is using ACER and shes happy with it. Try to canvas first and check the prices and specs. *wink*

hi my friend. Nice to meet you here. I suggest you to get an Asus lappie. The quality for me is not bad. I bought f81se white edition. It only cost me RM2928 and come with ati 4570 graphics card. So i think you can consider this model.

It depends on your budget first.If your planning to get a costly Lap go for Viao that will Top all your needs.If are you planning to stick to your purse,then you can go for Dell or HP.I guess my comments would have helped you.Whether its Viao,Dell or HP all the Lap performs in the same manner.But Viao is costly as Sony is a costly brand.

Hey, Well firstly it all depends on what you want to use your laptop for. If you want to use it for Gaming, then I highly recommend that you get a pretty high powered laptop, not a small crummy one. I would highly recommend you to get a CPU that might even have the new Intel Core i7 architecture that has just come out, as no other CPU that is out can even compete with it. Try and get a laptop that has like a 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, it doesn't really matter how big hard drive you have, even for gaming but I recommend you get a portable hard drive, and make sure you get a computer that has at least 512 MB graphics card either nVidia or ATI Radeon HD. But if you aren't looking for gaming, but mostly for Internet Surfing, or typing I would either recommend a Netbook or a not so powerful normal Laptop. When I mean not so powerful, I mean 2.0Ghz 2GB RAM, 128MB Graphic card something like that. Hope I helped, but it would be nice if you could specify for what purposes. Have a great day!

I have an Asus and I am pleased with it. I used Lenovo and HP before. I was happy with Lenovo too, but HP had some problems. It slows down too much. A lot of my friends are getting Toshiba Satellite. It has a cool design and look but a bit expensive from the others that have the same properties.

hi~kushank firstly, i think you'd better tell us your requirements about the new one. and secondly, i find that the same laptop maybe have different model name in different country, or maybe have different configuration. at last, i recommend my favorite brands, just like dell, hp.

All I can say is try it before you make a decision to buy it as the set ups of the various keyboards and other features etc. are different and you might like more than the others and decide that way.
