how to convince my parents?

It is very hard to handle such kind of relationship. But I have this friend (girl), a christian who are now engage to a Hindu guy. They will have two weddings, one in hindu ceremoony and the other one a church wedding. I really didn't know that they will have issues on that but this guy already talk to the parents of my friend and assures them that he will take care of my friend. Why not ask the guy to do the same thing to your parents. Tell him to assure them of their daughter's future with a christian husband.
