Can you tell if meat is spoiled if you don't have a sense of smell?

I think if the meat looks brown or gray color instead of red - if it's red meat, or looks a funny color than it should be, then it's most likely spoiled. Also, if it feels kinda slimy. Hope that didn't confuse you more. Welcome to mylot and have a good lotting day.

I have a bad sense of smell.
I can smell, but not very well.
When I say something stinks, then others are already trying
to get away. When others say something stinks, I don't smell it
unless it is really bad.
As for meat, I normally look at the date on the package.
I will save it until 3 days after date. As long as it is in
the fridge.
I also look at the color, if the color has gotten dark, then I will
get rid of it right away, even before the date.
And if I am not sure if the meat is good, I (after cooking it) give a
peace to the cat. If he does not eat it, then it is not good.
Cats have a good sense of smell.
Take care.

you can see if it is spoiled by just looking at it, its color, and by touching it of course.
