In some point in our lives we have an experience that sticks in our mind forever and we get chills even thinking about it.
What is your scary experience?
Did you get past it or does it still haunt you?

There was this one time that we went to the mountains to stay there for vacation. The place has no electricity and it was very far from the city. Transportation is very limited. I was with my uncle, cousins and sister. My uncle suffers from this manic depression. That day, he had a fight with the caretaker of the place for reasons I don't know. My cousins tried to calm him down and everything was ok. That same night though, one of my cousins forgot to give him his medication. When his depression took over, he ran out of the cottage and got a torch and a big knife and ran heading to the caretaker's house. We were so afraid we hid in the forest. My cousins went after him and forced him to take the medication. After an hour, he calmed down and went to sleep. I wasn't able to sleep that night for fear that he might wake up and burn the cottage down. My uncle is now living abroad and the threat is far so I guess it helps to forget it sometimes.

Today only there was a very scary event, I was going on my way, one dog who was chased by other dogs was going to collide with me but he changed the track and on that way workers were doing washing, they all screamed but the dog was more scared than us and thankfully it did,nt bite any of us.

I have 2 scary experiences. The first was the fatal earthquake that took place in Manila in 1992. I was at the 7th flr in our office bldg. It was really scary. The second was the ATV ride accident I had with my daughter in Alaska. We were caught and saved by this one tree from going down the ravine. It was pretty scary and it's hard to forget but life goes on and they weren't as scary as to haunt me. It just reminded me of how precious life is and I should really take safety precautions all the time.
