Do you own a gun? We dont. My husband wants to get one though. He has been looking at them alot lately and saying he would like to get one. I am still up in the air. He wants it mainly for recreational purposes so I am assuming it wont be just a little handgun which I suppose is a little better. He wants to hang it on the hallway wall in a case when it is not in use, again not too bad. At least there I would know where it is and that no one is messing with it. And of course it would remain empty unless in use and out of the house.
Anyone have a gun in their homes? Do you agree with them? Or not? Would you like to get one if you dont have one? Is it a handgun or a rifle, etc?
Well just thinking.........see ya later!

We have two handguns. Both are kept locked in a safe in our closet on the top level and he keeps the keys on his keychain. He'll take one out at night and actually put it in the nightstand just in case he would need it. I insist on keeping it under lock and key because the kids are nosey and sometimes even though they are big already, I don't want them to tell their friends and have any kind of accident should they get a hold of one. I wouldn't hang it in the hallway though. You never know who might get it.

Many years a go, I lived on a farm and had a shotgun. I used to sleep with it under the bed. I got rid of it because I realised that if we had an intruder, I would use it. When I thought about it, I was horrified to think that I might use it just because it was there.
