Trimming the nails should be done routinely as nails will grow faster than what we eat for us to grow.I have seen a few people who bite off their nails in the process of thinking.Do you bite your nails or you trim them off with a nail cutter. Is your nails trimmed properly now ? How often do you Trim your nails.Share the truth here.

I never bite my nails. It is a terrible habit and disgusting. My oldest son bites his all the time. They can not even grow to a normal length anymore because he bites them so low that the skin above the nail gets sore if they start growing. So he is always chewing on them. I do not trim my nails regularly either. I let my nails grow and file them as needed. They honestly could be filed a little better right now but I will not bite or trim them.

It would be really hard to trim your nails again if one of the nail is broken. For that purpose I don'.t grow my nails long

I don't bite my nail. I think its disgusting and can't imagine myself biting my nails. I cut my nails with a nailcutter every 10-14 days.

i trim my nails with a nailcutter. i dont bite them. i never used to either. i just dont like the habit of people biting nails especially in public. i trimmed my nails last week. i usually grow them long and so the nails become quite hard making it diffiult to bite. also.. how does the surface of the nail be smooth if you bite it. ??

long has the days since i've last chewed on my nails.
even if i did now, i won't swallow it. It'll be because of desperate measures. Say a chip nail that leaves a sharp edge that might prove hazardous. If not, i'd use a nail clipper.
I'm quite particular with my nails. because i've seen nails that do not get much attention and somehow it gives me the impression of roughly how a person's personal hygiene is or his / her lifestyle.
I trim my nails using the nail clipper whenever i feel that it's too long for comfort. Or if it chips.

I will just remember where was my nail the last time before I chew. And I will trim it with my nail clipper.During my school days,I was prone to the habit of biting my nails, but now I have changed that habit.I have a friend who still bites his nail and has got no more nails to chew
.
