Yesterday, my 9 year old niece ask me this.. it made me thinking, because i have alot of questions that i would like to ask God..right now, the question that i like to ask him is, what is my purpose / mission in life? that he set...i like to ask him this questions, because its hard to know the answer to this question, sometime our goal in life will keep changing, making us search for our purpose in life..i also want to ask him about my future too, i like to know what will happen to me, maybe i change my fate..
If you could ask God one question, what would you ask?

I reverence my God, Jesus Christ, so much that the only thing I would ask Him is "What is Your Will for ME to do? I would not dare ask Him questions like, "If you are a God of love, then why is there so much suffering?" I am afraid to ask those kinds of questions.
In His Word, I believe, He has let us know what He wants us to know.
I believe that we want to get common with God. We want to bring Him down to our level, and make Him relevant to our lives. God stands alone; He is God all by Himself. He is mysterious, and His thoughts are a "great deep." In one of the Psalms, it says, "I don't concern myself with things too high for me to comprehend" (psalm 133, I believe?)
But it says that "I am as a child that has been weaned of his mother." In other words, I have a quiet reverence and awe for Him. I realise that in Ecclesiastes it says, "God is in Heaven, and you are on Earth. So let your words be few."
In short, God is God, and I am not! I would do well to remember that.

I would ask God "why are people being allowed to hurt children and cause them pain and unhappiness" I hear so much sadness in the news which really upsets me.
God has been there for me many times in my struggles in life, but I can't understand why children should suffer, they are so innocent

I have a teacher before in contemporary christian theology, and we asked her, if God is a loving father that gives unconditional love, why does he allow people to suffer? she answered us that because God gave us the free will to choose between right and wrong, and those decision will either lead to suffering or not. but we forgot to ask about children who are being abused, and suffering, even though they are not doing anything bad.. good point, you raised there.. thanks for your response. happy myLotting.

Our purpose in life is to be aware of the beauties in this world and thankful to Him for the creation. Our purpose is to notice the beauties around us our children's smile, the scent of a flower. Live with the knowledge that everything happens for a reason. Be thankful for the good and the bad and try and help those in need as much as possible even if all you can do is give a smile.
I would ask God to guide more people to the knowledge of Him so that there would be less cruelty and more love in the world.
