Roasting dog!

I just got a very silly thought - my dog like to sleep in front of the fireplace a lot, I wonder if growing has something to do with the heat like we can put the plant in the green house under the light then the plants grows faster :-p I know it is silly
Do your dogs like to roast themselves a lot too? When it snows outside, his little feet get frozen, the first thing he does after come in is go straight to the fireplace, I think it is so cute...hehe

my puppers has hated winters since I have gotten him and he's a Husky. LOL!! I think he just is such a baby.. But at least this year he tolerated it more than when I first got him.

Husky are sled dogs and there fore are supposed to love cold weather. LOL!! This one not so much. LOL!! my husky I swear is the anti husky when it comes to the cold. But he is most definitely a Siberian Husky.. LOL Just one that doesn't like snow and cold. his pretty white paws would get wet. lol..

Last winter, I brought my hunting boy - lab dog to sledding, I saw a husky was doing that too, slided down to the hill, it was cool!

just wait till you get the burning hair smell aswell.
My old dog bless her used to sit so close to the fire that she used to radiate a burning smell as she sat so close to the fire.
Think all dogs must like it hot hot hot.

I remember one of the times, I smelt crispy on my dog then I looked at his tail, it was brown and crispy...

I don't have a fireplace but yes, my dog likes to roast herself. She sits in the sunbeams that come in through the sliding door. Of course when I pet her or pick her up she is so very hot. I don't know how she keeps from panting or overheating doing that every morning. :)

It is funny that when my dog gets too hot sleeping in front of the fireplace, he will go to the door and cool off himself then go back and forth hehe so cute!
