Why is Ugly Betty replaced by something else?

I watch Ugly Betty on Thursdays in ABC if I am at home. I enjoy watching the show. However today, they have something else for Ugly Betty's time slot. So what happened?

I am reposting since I don't know if my last post went through. I was just saying that I was bummed that Ugly Betty wasn't on these past couple of weeks. I love that show. I have enjoyed Samantha Who. It's very funny and one that I will keep watching but that other show with the ladies who think they are funny really sucks. I hate it and can't believe it was even allowed on the air. It really does take up good air time... not a good show and so not funny!

I like Samantha Who as well. The other one, In the Motherhood, is not good nor funny. I don't know why they put that on a Thursday night, when people are expecting something good on that timeslot. What a waste of money for the producers.

Motherhood is the one that I was talking about! It's awful and so not funny. I can not believe they call it comedy. I see no comedy in that show...not funny at all. Samantha Who is so funny. I totally love Christina Applegate. It's a great show and I hope they don't pull it. I just saw her on The View (I think) and she was saying the show might get pulled if they don't get enough viewers.

AWw, that's sad. Since Samantha Who debuted few months ago on Monday nights, I was watching it already. Although I like Ugly Betty more, I wouldn't like for the show to get axed. Hope they see a better timeslot for that show. Let's keep on watching.

I've been wondering the same thing, what's going on with Ugly Betty? I really like the show and it's driving me crazy that it hasn't been on! Now I see here that someone posted it won't be back on until May 7th. I checked ABC's website and sure enough, Ugly Betty doesn't return until May 7th. I think they purposely are trying to get the show dumped. They could have made the announcement during the show that it wouldn't be back until May 7th but instead the network decided to just leave all of the viewers in the dark. That's just wrong.

We have let the network know that we want Ugly Betty back on its regular time slot.

Unfortunately Ugly Betty isn't doing as well as it used to. So they decided to give it a break and move Samantha Who? from Monday to Thursday. I guess it's something ABC is trying out but I really liked Samantha on Mondays.
Have no fear. The news is that Betty will return May 7th. However, it's up in the air if it will be picked up for another season or not.

Aww....that's terrible...maybe they have stretched out the story line too much...that's why people are getting tired of watching it. But I don't. I like the characters in Ugly Betty. Thanks for the info.
