Summer is here and here I am looking for Ice Cream...weird...
Philippines is popular with two company Ice Cream, Nestle and Selecta. I don't have any problems with these two since they serve very delicious ice cream, even they are rival companies when it comes to ice cream.
But, even they are great, each of their Ice Cream flavors are different from one another. They say Chocolate of Nestle is much better than Selecta and other stuffs. But, for me, taste doesn't matter as long as I can eat Ice Cream.
Some people prefer Selecta, some people prefer Nestle. What about you? What brand and its flavor do you like? Come on! Summer is here and Ice Cream rocks at this time. ^_^

I'm not particular with the brand, as long as it's pistachio and cashew :)

If I am not mistaken, that ice cream was a special month flavor, I only ate it once though.

I am not aware of the month's flavor. But it is kinda unique with its green color. And I really love green :)

Hello taki_takaishi! It's really hot in here and I am really craving for ice cream. My favorite ice cream flavor is rocky road no matter what kind of flavor it is.

I think I'd go for Magnolia. Before Nestle took over it.
But at present, since it's between Nestle and Selecta I think I'd go for Nestle. I don't know with Selecta it seems to melt so easily, and they just couldn't capture that taste that I am looking for in an icecream. Sorry selecta lovers, my tastebuds have their own preference.
I also like the fact that the container of Nestle is very reusable. It doesn't rust. Although I don't know which is more earth friendly, the plastic or the tin?
Anyway, my fave flavor is Coffee Crumble, and very rocky road. I love anything with chunks of something in it. Peanuts, mallows, choco bits. Yum!

Yah. Magnolia rocks. I miss Magnolia. Well, if we are going to about earth friendly container I go for the tin one since I can still use it, the plastic is also fine but it easy gets destroyed. Hay.
Hehehe.

I love chocolate ice cream from both Nestle and Selecta and nothing can beat them. I can eat a quart of it in just one sitting. I love the rocky road too since I love the crunchies of peanuts and other nuts.

I must admit, I do not ever see Selecta and Nestle ice cream here in the States...
I like Ben and Jerry's mint, Hagen Das Peanut Buter Cup and Baskin Robbins Peanut Butter Chocolate very much.

Hehehe. Well, never know that it would be worldwide, I guess it is only here in the Philippines. Even your ice cream seems different from ours. Wish I could taste them too.

I like the Brand Edy's. And My favorite kind is a seasonal ice cream that is hard to find. It's a girl scout cookie Ice Cream called Tagalongs, oh yum. But since it's only seasonal and hard to find, I will stick to the next best thing, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

When I was child I use to like the brand called Surbetero, but now it is gone. I like Brayers and Selecta, I don't really like Magnolia cause its too sweet. another Ice cream brand I like is Danerics, a new Ice cream company. I think they just started six or eight years ago in the Philippines. their products is non too sweet, smooth in your mouth and its really delicious, not to mention its very very affordable. Filipino made ice cream is delicious, even "yung ice cream ni Manong sa kanto".
