I think I am going to opt to just go online that day and have advised close friends and family of the same.

Thanks for the warning. I always try and keep my OS system and virus/internet protection up to date. I'll have to send out an e-mail warning the rest of my friends of this virus.
Thanks for looking out for us! And stay internet safe!

Good day... Thanks for the heads up. This type of internet worms are nuisance and can greatly affect your work or leisure in your computer. I guess nothing to do but update our anti - virus and keep our firewalls on.

Good Idea to always keep updated.
In my own opinion however, I don't think that any anti virus is 100% fool proof.
We must all take this into consideration should we decide to power up and go online on April first.
I would just opt to not go online at all.
Regardless of the anti virus etc. If it is a must to go online, surf cautiously.

I have read about this earlier this week on yahoo tech. The worm is called Conflicker C, the third variant of Conflicker, which first came out in the late 2008. It says it could be 'one of the most damaging attacks' we're going to see in years. The news has not tackled exactly what the worm can do but it's better to be safe than sorry. They advise every Windows users to update the operating system and antivirus software. Well then, I just hope that every antivirus software companies will be ready for the attack before April Fool's.

What if I change the date to another in my computer?Just make it no April 1st.Maybe I'll change it to March 1st.Dose that work to escape the virus? My aunt told me this way and I think it's useful in some way.I'll still be alert as possible I can, updating all the antivirus programs. The person who is doing this is really boring.I hope the person will be caught.Thank you for warning and good luck.

I don't think that changing the date on your computer would make any difference as this is a web based threat.
Do keep your anti virus and operating system updated at all times.
Scan (while off line) frequently also.
You are Welcome.
