Hi MyLotters,
Do you blog? Are all your contents in your blogs original or you just copy it from other blogs/ article sites/ Squidoo lenses? Are we allowed to copy contents from other blogs, article sites or Squidoo lenses? Sometimes the contents in other websites are just too good and I would like to use them in my own blog after giving credits to them. What is the right way to use contents of other website? Please share your views.

I have several blogs, and i try to write it myself, not copy from other sites. But if you want to use the content of other websites, you can try to search some free articles sites which allow you to use, copy-paste their content. They just require you to put the source in your blog. You must stated from where you get that article. Another alternative is try to communicate with blog/website owner and ask permission to publish his content to your blog. I think he will allow you,but you have to write the source link in your blog.

i general, I think it is better to write the articles our own as readers are looking for unique content and it is only achievable by writing ourselves.
However, if we copy from somewhere else, the best is if we ask the blog owner whether it is okay for us to copy it and it is a necessity to give him/her a credit for the article.

You will upset people and could get into trouble if you copy anything from another blog or website.
You could post a link on your blog to an article or blog post and recommend it as a good source of information. It is acceptable to quote a small section when you do this, but not to reproduce it all on your blog.
You could also email or message someone to ask if you can use their article, or request them to write something for your blog, and promise you will show a link at the end of the article, back to their own webpage or blog.

Yes i maintain many blogs hosted in "BLOGGER". We have take about copyrighted content i do not add any that sort of content to my blog and i don't even like others to copy my content. If you find the content in other sites good read and write what you have understood and link back to the original page where you have found the content, even i do the same.

If you copy another writer's words then you are STEALING. Taking something that belongs to someone else without their permission is theft.
Some rude, ignorant person copied by entire blog - every single post I'd ever written - and copied them onto his own blog just this week. That's theft, so HE was in the wrong.
You can see how badly the person reacted when he got his own blog account suspended for plagiarism here:

Hi Friend,
I have a some blogs mostly I write my original content. There are chances when you write someone els's post. In this situation it is better to write something about that post and that writer and then provide a link, so that people will be able to see the original content... Thereare so many bloogers who copy and paste other people's post but this is not a good thing to do....better is to provide a link,....

I blog on another site and all of it is my own work, for which I have a nice little gizmo that comes up stating if one uses my work they are to provide a link to my work. I put this up after I had two articles that were published in professional online magazines plagiarized.
In terms of Mylot, I typically just provide a link. If there was a paragraph or such that I wanted to copy for illustration I will generally put it into italics to help it stand out from my text (as I can't format as I would if doing a word document) and state where I took the material from. If I am doing a long article in which I've cited several sources I will provide a reference page.
If you are going to copy and paste the entire thing it is best to get the permission of the author to re-post. Some will state on their website it's ok to distribute so long as you provide a link to their original source. If you want to know how to do proper citation visit Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL).
