What Can you Say About the Sony Vaio Notebooks?

So I have this laptop bag free from Starbucks (because they released my 2nd planner after their set date) and probably as customer good will, they added a FREE LAPTOP bag as well! 
. I liked the gesture. My office mates went head-over-hills over the bag especially those with laptops. The problem is... I have a laptop bag but I don't have a laptop! 
So one of my colleague showed me the newest line of VAIO notebooks from SONY and at the instant, I was gobsmacked! It only weighs 1.4 lbs!!! It can actually be placed inside a wallet or clutch bag (or my new laptop bag, thank you so much starbucks!!!)It also has a built-in Blue-Ray technology. I am not a "techy" person so to speak.But I fell in love-at-first-sight with this notebook.
Do you know any features of VAIO? It's worth $900 or Php40500. Do you think it's worth the figures?

I have not personally used the laptop, but helped a friend install it recently. While i was amazed at at it's weight , i was also quite shocked at it's price. I know for sure that i could have got 2 very good laptops which of course are slightly bigger and heavier for that price. It's an individual decision and if people can afford it then why not.
