I am not good at keeping things in order. So whenever I want to create a new file of whatever type, I always put it on my computer desktop just for convenience as I may view or edit it sooner or later. As the time go by, my desktop is covered by various files of different formats. So it may become very difficult for me to find specific files which I need to use. How about your desktop? Do you often clean up yor desktop?

I am also like that. I will keep a not of every thing in a not pad or a word file and will keep it in the desk top, for my future reference. Most of the time,I will not refer and even if I need to refer them, finding the correct note pad will be the great task.. But still I am doing this. But the good thing I am doing is , every 20 or 15 days, I will collect all of these files and put into a new folder and then I will compress it and will send to some email id of my own, from my personal email. The copies will be available in both of the emails and some time, they will be required for reference,on that time I will download them and will use.

I need to clean up the files on my computer too. I try to have all my files in folders that way they stay organized. I just finished a quarter in school and now it is time to get my computer ready for next quarter. I am going to do a disk clean and defrag while I am at it.

Yup, I'm always cleaning my desktop and save it to my documents. The important files only, because I have deep freeze software installed on my PC. Very helpfull software, I can enter even on a unsafe sites. If I'm infected with spam or virus, I just restart the PC and virus, spamware are gone. PC is clean again and also my desktop. =)

I used deep freeze 6. I think what powershadow does is the same with deep freeze but they are different software. I recommend using it specially with those PC that are networked for less maintenance. Just freeze C drive and used other drive for saving like directing My Documents on other drive so that you can still save automatically.
