'a man never cry' do you think it is true?

Men hardly ever cry because they tend to have a better hold on their emotions, also because women know they will get sympathy from cyring whereas men just seem to be weak. Men do cry though and there's nothing wrong with that.

That's definetly not true. I know and seen guys that cried in movies or in sad situations. I barely cry, but that's just me.

i think it is all societys fault.it has projected man as a person who does not show his emotions that includes he does not cry also.but i know this to be false as my hubby and many of my male friends do show their emotions.

yes i too consider this as rubbish.men do cry n they ve equal amount of emotions.being a girl i say this because till date which ever men im familiar like dad,brother,boyfriend,friends they are quite emotional.if i take exmp of my dad i find him the most emotional man in the world he cries if see any one in pain n do his level best to make thingh easy.my boyfriend cries every now n then for me.

Men may not cry as much for different reasons: they may be trying to hold back because it is not as socially acceptable in our culture. It may be because they have trained themselves not to cry as an outlet for their emotion, and choose another outlet, and it may be their personality, or they are trying or think they need to appear strong for others. I went through a pahse where I didn't cry ever and I'm a female. But I think it's mainly because men have different ways of showing emotion and feel pressure socially.

I think it's a load of crap. Men need to realize that they can cry if they need to. Emotion has to come out somehow, and crying is much better than yelling at people around you and hurting them with your temper. This applies to both men and women. Both genders should be able to cry to express emotion if they need to.

NO.I have many instances of such man.Althorugh many mes are strong enough to control their emotions few people are very sensitive.If they see any thing heart touching they start crying.Happy mylotting

Hi there. I think that's quite an out-dated way of thinking. I wouldn't think any less of a man who allows himself to cry. Crying provides people with much-needed catharsis and is actually something healthy to do once in a while. I don't think it would be fair to guys for us to deprive them of such a thing.

Men do cry that is the truth of it. everyone does at some point in time of there life they cry. For example i had never seen my brother cry not once ever..UNTIL my grandfather passed away and i never seen him cry like tht before and even though he tried to hold it in he couldnt. Ive seen ex bfs cry and some didnt even know i knew about it but they do cry no matter how strong they pretend to be sometimes.

Men are tough. It's true. They are tough on the outside, but human as they are, they also have emotions. They can cry, shead tears and even scream. They are not robots, they are humans just like women. But they are expected not to cry infront of other people, society expects them to be tough, to show no emotions. This is the reason why more men suffer from heart problems because they just keep their problems to themselves.BUt I believe that a real man cries...I've seen my father cried when my mom left, I've seen my brother cried when he was detained after he got arrested, I've seen my boyfriend cried when he had a big problem. I've seen them cry, and they are real men.

Yes, I think crying is a good way of vent. As you say, most people consider a real man never cry. Maybe that is one of men's personalities. However, men should also have another performence-heartthrob.
