what do you prefer to do? making discussions or just post responses on others discussions?

Its easier to respond to a discussion so you dont have to think of a topic, but if I've got an idea, then I'll post a discussion.

As i look at my posts i think i am better at responding to others' discussions than starting my own. The thing is, i spend quite a lot of time searching for topics that i could respond to. I also take time to think, proofread and edit my work and so most nights i could respond to only one or two. I also try not to hurry in posting because whenever i do that i find there are some mispelled words or wrong tenses or my lines are grammatically incorrect and if my former English professors happen to belong to myLot community and find out this is me with the poorly written "composition" i might get a poor rating! Lol! There are times i don't participate but just go on reading different discussions and try to study what topics generate the most responses because i am not doing good on this. Maybe i will start another discussion again and pray that it gets more responses than the three topics i have started but in the meantime i will go on responding as long as there are topics i can relate to. Thanks for this discussion, lockheart. You have just given me an opportunity to earn a cent tonight!

I do far more responding than starting discussions. I have a tough time coming up with things that I think would be of interest to anyone. I don't want to just start up a bunch of nonsense discussions that really don't amount to discussions as there is nothing to discuss. You know, like, do you like donuts?....Whats your favorite pizza?.

I respond more then making my own discussions because I don't have time to babysit my own discussions and I don't have time to go back to them and reply back to everyone who responds to my discussion. I like responding more for now.I wish I had more time to reply back to people though because I appreciate the time they take to respond to my discussions.

Hello friend, I am a lazy person when it comes to starting discussions. I have started very few discussions here. I never sit idle and think about a topic to start a discussion on. If a topic comes to my mind when I am surfing the net, then I immediately start off a discussion on it. I am happy to find discussions from my interests and read the views of different people about it and post my own.

id like to respond to a discussion wc i know i can contribute some ideas and opinion. while posting a discussion would be ok if i have some things that i want to know bout their reactions. but most of the time i keep on posting a response wc is much easier coz i find only one person is replying to my discussion :-(

I prefer to post responses of other's discussions. I have discussions already but I don't have any new topics in my mind at the moment.

Hi lockheart! I've been busy for a past few months now that's why I prefer responding to some of the discussions I am interested with. It's hard for me to think some new discussions that is catchy to human eyes like yours,. Well, I know that posting and responding is the same..meaning we can both earn on it. I prefer doing them both... Im lazy sometimes as well to answer some off the discussions due to i cannot relate with a certain topic or simply i just dont know how to answer it so I start a new discussion of my thoughts.. or simple questions i have in mind... If i cannot think of a topic for a discussion I browse over the discussions specially my interests, then answer on those discussions.. But if im too bored, I do them both

i like to do both, i start them to get some info if i need help and i respond to them if i can help other people, because helping someone makes my day.

I like responding to discussion. especially to not responded ones. I don't like commenting on others responses much. If i feel like its worth commenting, I comment. If not I leave it

i prefer to response others post because post a discussion is diffcule for me .my english is poor.

Both post and respond all called join discussions.there are no different and can be get the money. but i rather than respond, because i am lazy to post a new topic(i don't know which topic will be interesting) and the second reason is my english is not very good. so i think post and respond is better for us!

If i have a good discussion I start a new one but most of the time my discussions have no response so i stick on commenting other people's discussion. hehe :P

I prefer answering discussions. I don't really fel like starting it, but I already started two discussions.

well my favorite line is posting replies done making discussions..i enjoy a lot answering interesting discussions and if time comes that i don't like the discussion then i that's the time i am creating a new discussion to have a new interesting discussion and i feel so proud with it if there are a lot of fellow mylotters joined my discussions ...Happy mylotting to all

i prefer responding to posts than posting my own discussion, because sometimes my ideas are already posted, you know what i mean... hehehe

Both will do, everytime i was interested in a discussion i usuaaly respond to it. Also with creating a discussion, when I'm in confused on something or want to get answer from fellow mylotters or share something, then I will create the discussions,

I prefer to respond, only because for me it's easier than coming up with topics.
