how do you ask a girl for steady

hi mylotters,
haven really been steady with a girl before, only once though.. wasn't a pleasant memory for me with my 1st girlfriend.. anyway just wanna seek help in how do i ask a girl for steady... cos i don't really have much experiences with this.. but i like this girl alot... had a crush on her for almost 3 yrs... been chatting with her and smsing her sometimes but then.. don't really know how to ask her for steady.. afraid that she will reject and start to avoid me.. =[

You sound a lot like my oldest son. Just ask her out to a movie or something. My son started with his current gf by asking if she wants to hang out sometime. And then you have your time to see if you hit it off or not. 3 years of a crush and there is communication with you guys. She may be waiting for you to make the move. Go for it and spend sometime together.

well she don't really know that i like her.. though we've been chatting more recently. as we both have just graduated from our poly. and i am currently waiting for enlistment and she's looking for job.

That is why you should ask her to hang out sometime. It is easier then asking her on an actual date and gives her a better chance to know you as a person. Using the term "hang out" is much more casual and comfortable. And if you two are meant to be together it will happen. Good luck:)

just say, would you like to make it official? thats how my boyfriend asked me! and im still with him two years later! so it worked! you know if she likes you, and even if she says no, i expect you friendship would be strong enough to get over it anyway, so good luck!

just tell her what you want if you cant come out and tell her what you want then you are never going to go anywheres with her
