What does it take to be a daily top user?

Everyday I see the top user posted, but is there anywhere that says what they have done to get there?

I am assuming the one who uses it most that day, or does the most posting ect..

You would have to beat everyone else in the number of post you type. There is no way I could ever type more than about 100. They must be posting much more than that.

I don't know how correct i am , but i believe that someone told me its like 300 posts in one day. seems like alot.. but i guess its possible.. If i am wrong someone correct me i would like to know this also..
