Gitmo prisoners may be released in this country, and given welfare? What next? When I first saw these two articles, I thought it was satire. This kind of 'hope' and 'change' stinks, in my opinion. Maybe they'll be given 'shovel-ready' jobs, too! Why not? I mean, even if they suicide bomb us, can't say we didn't try to reform them, eh? What is this administration smoking, anyway? I don' think it's Marlboro cigarettes....The two links can be found at Drudge, btw.

Of course we should welcome them into our nation, and pay them for the privilege.. and if they want to kill is, who are we to tell them they are wrong? Obama is an idiot.

Okay, they don't like us, hate being here... but now we release them to this country and continue to room and feed them??? They only accommodation they should be given is a free ticket home asap. Why would we want to force them to live here? What purpose would that serve? Do the powers to be really believe that by showing them and letting them live the American way they'll not want to kill us? Even if they didn't have intentions of that (as so many of them claim they are innocent), common believe is that after Gitmo they most likely will join an anti-american terror group back home... Is this supposed to prevent that? This doesn't make sense at all.

This administration won't stop until this country is completely destroyed. Mr. Obama is a marxist--people that immigrated here from communist countries are warning people that their freedom was sacrificed in much the same manner as we are headed. I really think their aim is to destroy us financially, structurally and emotionally. Worse times are coming.

But how can it be right, to take people out of their home countries, lock them up for years without trial and then say, "Oops, sorry. We can't PROVE you did anything wrong. Have a nice day." For the record, I don't support the Gitmo detainees being housed in the US because I would fear for THEIR safety. The US government removed any opportunity these people had to earn any money at all, in some cases for up to eight years. Can you imagine being stripped of eight years earnings without anyone giving you a VALID AND PROVABLE LEGAL reason? And so I don't get a ream of abuse, I will not change my opinion on this, and I fully support the Haig conducting a full and thorough investigation into the detention of every single person held at Gitmo and why.
