The Greatest Guitarist to ever walk the earth has to be Jimi Hendrix. Just take a listen to any of his albums his guitaring will just take you places. Its truly inspiring!

It's hard to pick just one guitarist. My favorites are Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Schenker, Ulrich Roth, Matthias Jabbs, Rodulf Schenker, Ritchie Blackmore, Randy Rhoads ... the list can go on. As a player, Yngwie is talented, but especially in cover songs (songs that were originally someone's) he often overdoes things.

Tears in Heaven is Eric Clapton, and I just went To a BB King concert a couple weeks ago. It was amazing. He is an amazing guitarist, and an even better performer. He got the whole crowd so into it.
