A few weeks ago, I discovered that my dog has acquired bacterial pneumonia. It was so pitiful to see him coughing and sneezing while a yellowish fluid comes out of his nose. He also didn't want to eat, but I managed to make him eat even a little by throwing some food inside his mouth. He drinks a lot of water though. I consulted a veterinarian who then examined my dog and gave prescriptions. It took him two weeks to recover. I'm really glad he survived the sickness. Has your dog became sick like this? How did you take care of him/her? Share your experiences here.

Oh that is good it can be hard when a pet is ill. It can be hard on the animal but also on the owners too. I can get very sad for the animal and feel helpless while I wait until they recover which can take some time. I don't like the feeling but it is hard either way. I can sympathise with you. I have two cute ones that I adore so it is good when they come out of a light cold or something.

It was really sad for me the last time. This time I promised that I'll never neglect my pet anymore. I think it just goes with me being concerned with animals, dogs in particular. They can ease away your sorrows when you're sad, and take away your stresses when you're tired.

Yeah, i had a germen shepherd doggy. He got ill two to three times, but i managed to get him treated at time. Firstly he got stomach upsets, he hadn't been taking any food, i felt very bad and concerned, but i gave some medications and he finally got better after that i took him to the hospital and the doctor gave 3 injections in a row after that he was as cool as a cucumber. I love taking care of my doggy he is so sweet and cute. They were absolutely brilliant and loving, love them :-)
