Peanut butter: Creamy or Extra Crunchy

I only like one type of peanutbutter...Jif. Now, even though I love Jif, I have a bone to pick with them. They only sell Extra Crunchy or Creamy. What is wrong with just Crunchy? Extra Crunchy is too crunchy! So, to make it to my liking, I have to use both...a little creamy to tame the crunch. What do you like? Is Extra Crunchy too crunchy? Or do the bits of peanuts not belong in the butter?
Choosey Moms...And Grandpas chose Jif. :)

After this discussion of peanut butter, I actually went and picked up some Peter Pan Crunchy to try it....I didn't like it.
I think I will stick to Jif. :)

I grew up with Peter Pan Peanut Butter. That is my favorite and always will for that simple reason. Thus far for my son I have only gotten Peter Pan....that is up until last week. I just bought the double monster pack of Jiff at Costco. Yep, Jiff. Crunchy, Extra Crunchy, or Creamy....I'm just glad the boy doesn't have a peanut allergy and can enjoy peanut butter.

OMG! You found a Crunchy in Jif????? Not Extra Crunchy, but just Crunchy in Jif? I can't find that anywhere. That is what this question is all about! Cause I have to put Extra Crunchy with Creamy to get the right crunch factor good for me!!!!!
Sorry, I love peanutbutter. I am also glad none of my kids are allergic to peanuts. Or I would truly be hurting.
You found regular Crunchy in Jif. ok...I must reallu live in a small town. We are deprived of regular crunchy Jif peanut butter. :(

Tia, don't be bitter but no, I didn't find Crunchy Jiff. Just plain Creamy. I can see how my post might have make it sound like I have found Crunchy, but I have not. I will keep an eye out for it though.
You are indeed an peanut butter junkie! Forget about Coke Classic! Peanut Butter is your vice! Again, sorry.

I use both, but for sandwiches it is creamy peanut butter for me. Crunchy is great in candy making or for cookies.

I prefer my creamy and preferably Peter Pan. Crunchy always seemed to rip the bread when I went to spread it on and it's just a bit too crunchy for me. Wish they could come out with a mild crunchy, that might work for me :)

I LOVE Extra Crunchy. Smooth peanut butter just isn't as good.

I am not fussy about the brand but I have to have creamy. I lost all my teeth due to a bad infection and my dentures don't fit right so I don't wear them at all. I can't eat peanuts anymore. But even when I could eat them, I liked the creamy better. I don't like little bits of things in my food. I'm just strange like that.lol.

I like JUST Crunchy! I do not really like EXTRA crunchy.
We also use JIF at our house (that's all we have ever used) and they only sell Creamy, Extra Crunchy, or Reduced Fat Crunchy!
What's the point of having Peanut Butter if it is Reduced Fat!!
So, if I want a Crunchy Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich....I just toast my bread!
But, I will try your way! Maybe that will work! Thanks.
