I can not think of anything more unsightly to see many overweight and even obese people in the Gym running, pedeling, rowing, pushing, stretching, lifting, squatting etc with their exercises and last but not least of the unsightlies...SWEATING..
yucky!!!
keep your clothes on in the gyms

You might get a sensitive body part trapped between two pieces of gym equipment... ouch...
Interesting word origin though!

I wouldn't want to bench press anything if my spotter was dangling over me.
And if my spotter was female, then that would just be dangerous. I'm not referring to the strength to spot me, but to my distraction and the likelihood that I would crush my throat or something dropping the bar as I stared off distractedly into . . .

How would guys get any heavy lifting done except for their abs. Your discussion question raises the hilarious picture of a group of men staring at some hot chick with peenis (I know I misspelled that's to get that word past the censor software.) cozies on with fuzzy little animal heads on them and the heard looking very bright eyed and alert with their heads up looking not for a predator but at some hottie McHot tot. What you negelect to include here however was that number one only men were athletes in ancient Greece and number two: Do you know why they call cornholing "going greek"?

LOL EEEK OH HELL NO!! the visual I just got was terrifying! The last thing I want to see or have ppl see on me is my personal parts flopping about in a wild insane fashion while I'm running on the treadmill..and I KNOW I really dont want to be forced to watch some 80 yr old man or woman doing yoga or working out etc..I'll pass thanks LOL

No! I would be so embarrased. As it is I only work out in the womens workout area in our Gym. I also would hate to show my naked body to the other men in the gym when I am a married woman with morals. My body may be a temple and a thing of beauty but it is my husbands temple, for his enjoyment only.

No, I don't think it should. That's just disgusting and perverted. The world hs changed alot since the Greek days, so I don't think we can really compare things to that.

Regardless of any Greek definition, I say absolutely NOT !
I think that would just be gross, with all the bouncing, jiggling, sweating, huffing and puffing !
If it were that way I for one would never go.
Well, not like I go alot anyway, but for sure I wouldn't.

I wouldn't want to see most people working out naked, nor would I want to have any of my body parts touching anything their naked body parts were touching. GROSS!
