I was recently involved in a hit and run
accident. I was hit and they ran. I was
in my car and it has been in the shop
and will be for about a month. I banged
my knee pretty hard and hurt my neck
but I am alive.
Before that happened the Dryer pooped out
the water heater started to leak, The
dishwasher started to make grinding noises
and is on its last leg. Oh yes and then
the Microwave gave up the ghost.
I was starting to feel really down. Then
I saw a picture of a child in africa
all by itself in a field with a buzzard
next to it. The child was little more then
a skeleton. It made me sick.
Then I come on Mylot, after not being on
here for quite some time. Why did I
quit coming here? Because the subjects that
we have to pick from are so stupid sometimes
it just aggrevates me. The first one I saw
when I came back was HOW DO YOU EAT A BANANA?
I thought wow, hasnt changed much, they are
still paying people for these . Then today
I am looking and come upon one where
someone is feeling so sorry for themselves.
for trivial stuff. Much as anything is
trivial compared to children that
have no water or food to eat.
So I just had to write this, so you can
stop and think. As long as you have a roof
over your head and food on your table
you have no worries. And God Forbid you
should ever have to worry about your or
any of your family or friends child
dying because you cannot provide water
or food for them.
There are many sites on line that you can
go to and donate money , any amount of
money to these causes. There are even
games you can play to donate water. The
sponsors donate water every time you
get an answer correct. So that doesnt
cost you anything but a bit of your
time every day.
Stop and Think about it. Today is a
good day for you and me.

Sorry to hear about your accident. Two of my friends were also in a collision where the driver ran a stop sign and totalled their car and kept right on going. Thankfully they both survived with minor inuries. Yes, there's a lot of people worse than we are. Let's do something to help out!

Thank you for the BR award, your thoughtfulness is appreciated!
My friends are recovering nicely but they will have scars for the rest of their lives in this world. But things could have been much worse. I wonder what the driver who ran the stop sign, backed up his car after smashing into my friends' car, which is totalled, and took off before anyone could get his licence plate number, is thinking about? Is he, even a little bit concerned as to what he may have done?
What a world we live in? Thankfully there is a better one later.
2 Peter 3:13 (New International Version)
But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.
