Is it safe to eat moldy cheese? I haven't tried eating this one and I doesn't look appetizing.

I visited a cheese farm in Wales & was told that if mould grows on the cheese - just wash it off!
I love blue cheeses which contain some kind of mould anyway!

Cool. Maybe I just need a good dish so that I could learn to love it. :)

I love any food that has cheese on it. Especially pesto and cheese combination. Actually I have tried it once accidentally on a salad! I didn't know its blue cheese.

Yes. I believe most or all cheese is made from some kind of mold. Some just have more than others, like blue cheese. If you had a block of cheddar and it got mold on it the just cut that part off and the cheese is still good. If you are talking about cheese that has mold in it, like again blue cheese, it is safe to eat but as for appetizing it's all according to your tastes. I love blue cheese dressing but don't like blue cheese or blue cheese crumbles. The flavor is way too strong for me.

Well i personally, wouldn't eat the cheese at all if i saw mould on it. Although, some cheeses with mould on are actually alright to eat. So, yeah its possible that cheese can be harmless with mould, but it sometimes isn't worth the risk.
So, if i were you i wouldn't eat cheese with mould on, but its really up to you what you do :) hope i helped a little x

Well, some cheeses are meant to have mold in them. Blue cheese is one example of these types of cheeses. I wouldn't eat blue cheese if you have an allergy to penicillin though, since the mold is very similar and can cause an allergic reaction. Other types of cheese smell like stinky feet, but they're meant to, so that would be fine to eat. I wouldn't eat visibly moldy cheddar or mozzerella though. But don't panic - you can cut off the moldy bit and eat the rest. Be sure to cut just a little extra off around the mold so that you don't leave any spores, or else the mold will be likely to grow back. Happy cheese eating!
