how do you make ones marriage or relationship last??

Hey, I just got married and i want to know how to make it last. Although we we're on our way to our first wedding anniversary, I would like to get some suggestions on how to make it last and enjoy every single day.

I've been married for 5yrs. We've been thru thick and thin; ups and downs; you name, you got!!!! LOL.... The most important thing to have in a relationship is having a good communication... Everytime you argue with something or fight with something you guys needs to settle it once and for all before going to sleep.
