Thanks for the response! Happy Mylotting! What kind of set-up do you want? AMD or intel? If intel mid-range cpu would be core2dou, higher than that is core2quad and latest cpu is intel corei7, while amd choose athlon x2, higher than that phenom tricore and its latest it phenom quad core 3.0GHZ. Its up to you what motherboard you want, as long it support more than 4 gig rams and has a crossfire technology that add up built in video card plus the video card adapter. The ram should 4 gigabyte or more, it should have ddr2 800mhz or higher frequency. Hard disk space should be 500 gigabyte and sata compatible.

well okie, taking about possessor go for a core 2 duo, atleast 2 ghz, and if you want a high end go for quad core, then ram atleast 2 gb, for go for 4, then dvd-rw, 350-500gb of hard drive, then go for any lcd monitor, and 5.1 channel speakers, keyboard mouse up to you, do install a graphic card, of ati hd series or nvidia 9 series, you can have a sound card too, and thats it these are the mojor components, rest you can decide by yourself, i wish i'd have helped, happy mylotting

mmmhhh...if the budget is low i prefer a dual core processor, with single hd of 320/500 gb, and 2 gb of ram!
for high performance pc of if you don't change pc for many years a quad core processor is the best, 4 gb of rams and 2 hd on RAID 0,1 system and a good video card!
Don't make a sli or crossfire, i don't like it...

It depends on your way of use if you want to play games you may need high configuration if you want to have graphical applications the configuration may be a little bit high. If you want it only for internet and some data storage you can take ordinary configuration.
