If that's your aim, then I think this is a good way of doing it, apart from talking in English in person, reading English articles, etc. Good luck! ^_^

Hi, _soonernation_! I think jiacky already had, or maybe is still, training of some sort to learn English, and I think that what he's trying to do is to use what he's learned by taking part in a live discussion with other users of the language. I'm not sure that he's that confident enough to use English in real-life or face-to-face conversation, though, that's why he uses it here instead.. I've also learned to speak other language and I've undergone training. But like you, I don't think that I will learn by participating in a discussion or forum like this alone. Besides, written and spoken language are two different things.

its really hard to say because it all depends on the quality of your writings more then what you do. so if you think that you can start really good discussion and responded to every one that leaves a response then thats your way of going. so people find it easier to only response to discussions. so its a matter of what you like to do and what your better at doing on here. well good luck with your choose and keep on mylotting.
