Best site to search a person's name

What is the best free site to check a person's name, by simply type in his/her name, and you get that person's information? Is there any site like that exist?

I really don't know if there is any such website but you can get similar info from the social net working websites like facebook, hi5 and so on. I remember there used to be a feature on yahoo called "people", whee you could search people by their first and last names

I've recently searched the same subject to look for an old collage buddy... I didn't find anything like this. Guess it would be to easy for stalkers or psyco killers.
