why people hate on emo's

I was not aware that emo's were into self mutilation. I thought it was only make up and dress style. Because of that I was going to say that people often fear those who are different and you would have to get used to their attitude if you wanted to pursue that particular style. Now however I feel the need to add something to this. There really is something wrong with cutting yourself. It is a sign of low self esteem and deep psychological problems. You need to seek some help. If you don't feel like you can talk to your parents just now, talk to the guidance councelor at your school or the school nurse. But please find someone to talk to that can help you explore the reason you feel the need for this behavior.
