I've been quite busy recently but I still find time to check my email. Nowadays, I do it not as often as I used to even though my work requires the use of the internet.
What about you?

I am very busy, but when I go to office, my first task is open my email and check. After that I didn't close the email as long as I in office. so that means I check my email every time when ever I free for a minute..

I do that, too, sometimes, especially when my day in the office is not that hectic. I just leave my email open while doing other tasks then check on it once in a while, especially if I'm waiting for something like an email from a friend or an update.

Well, before I became really busy with work, I used to check my mail every hour, everyday. But nowadays, I only get to check it if someone tells me they've sent me something important. I don't really check that often since a lot of the emails being sent are either for something or forwarded messages.

I am not a busy person and usually my e-mails are newsletters and updates that I've subscribed to. I am also a member of various wesites so I get important e-mails everyday. I check my mail everyday since my computer's within reach. I also don't want to miss any mail from my friends so I make sure that I check it everyday. Sometimes, I go into my inbox more than once...

With the invention of GMail and AJAX/JQuery/awesomeness, I've been using e-mail more and more often. I hated e-mail in my AOL days. Until recently, I saw very little good in the e-mail system. I still question the way it works, though.
Recently, I joined the workforce, and, being an internet guru, I use e-mail way more often than before I started working. As for my jobs, I usually work with Flash and make games on a contract basis. Sometimes, I do odd jobs and "art commissions" (term "commissions" is inaccurately used) for some extra money, because it's hard to find jobs right now. E-mail helps me to stay in contact with all my employers.
